Dr. Ken Hounsel

Dr. Ken Hounsel grew up in Rising Star, TX, and got an Agriculture/Animal Science degree from Abilene Christian University. Later, he graduated Vet School at Texas A&M in 1986, and started his career in Tyler. He met and married his wife, Julie, in 1988 and they have lived and practiced in Eastland and Gilmer. He is very proud of his four grown boys and one teenage girl. He has lived in Diana for close to 20 years.

At the moment there are three dogs (Sally the Golden Retriever being his favorite) and three cats on his farm. Other pets he enjoys caring for are a potbellied pig (Wilbur), cows, donkeys, ducks and other assorted feathered and fur babies.

You’ll find him mowing or driving a tractor when he is home (among other things) and also takes pleasure in allowing kids over to fish, and to feed and pet the farm animals. He attends Pine Tree Church of Christ on any given Sunday and invites you to come visit 🙂

Dr. Jarred Lockhart

Dr. Lockhart grew up near Gladewater, TX and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After graduating he moved back to the Longview area to start practicing. Dr. Lockhart joined the staff at Judson Road Animal Clinic in 2011 and began to build the equine department of the practice.

Dr. Lockhart married his wife, Kelly, in 2000, and they have 3 wonderful children. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids; whether at some kind of sporting event or sitting by the lake. He attends church at Harleton Baptist Church and invites anyone who would like to drop in.

We know Dr. Lockhart to be a very devoted and hardworking individual. He is always very thorough whether he is treating a colic, suturing an injured animal or giving vaccines to a new puppy. Dr. Lockhart enjoys helping animals and truly loves what he does, and welcomes everyone to Judson Road Animal Clinic.

Dr. Katie Bibb

Katie Garrett Bibb grew up in Marshall, Texas and graduated from Marshall High School in 2012. Growing up, Dr. Bibb was very involved in her local 4-H and FFA Chapters. These experiences helped foster her passion for animals. After graduating high school she attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science in 2016. From there she attended Veterinary School at Mississippi State University – College of Veterinary Medicine. She will graduate in April of this year.

Dr. Bibb married her husband Jake in 2019. They share their home with their dog, Captain and cat, Tot. They also help out with their families cow operation. In her spare time, Dr. Bibb loves traveling to new places, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Practice Manager

Vicki joined our team in February of 2012. Vicki has a long history of a banking background. Over the years here at JRAC Vicki has helped in different departments and is now our Practice Manager. Vicki has been married for 25 years to Dalton. Together they have a 15 year old son Marshall that keeps them busy with his baseball and basketball schedule. Vicki loves animal and volunteers locally with several organizations that rescue animals.

Veterinary Technician Supervisor

Matthew joined the JRAC team in December of 2009. Matthew was raised in Ore City Texas where he also graduated. Matthew attended both North East Texas Community College and Kilgore College where he received Associates in Arts in General Education. Matthew will be furthering his education by pursuing a Business degree though University of Texas at Tyler while still continuing here at JRAC. Matthew has a large family which is a major part of his life, he is also a member of Concord Baptist Church of Gilmer Texas.

Matthew has worked in many different veterinarian environments but his passion is in furthering his knowledge in equine care, companion animals will always hold a special place with him. Matthew has a variety of animals ranging from his two dogs JD and Argus, to his horses, and we can’t forget to mention Minnie the Donkey.

Veterinary Technician

Elizabeth joined our team in March of 2006 and love what she does for God’s creatures!!!! She has been married for 36 years now to her wonderful husband Ed. Elizabeth and Ed have 2 of children, and 5 grandchildren. Elizabeth has always lived animals and working on animals. She has been around animals as far back as she can remember, ( and she says that’s a pretty long time)!!!!

She believes that God put animals here to teach us unconditional love, Because God is love. Elizabeth says she has learned much from the doctors here at JRAC and hopes to learn much more. She says that the more she learns, the more she can teach others of love, mercy, and compassion for all God’s creatures.

Veterinary Technician

Makenzie came to work at JRAC in January of 2018. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston with a Veterinary Technician Degree. She was born and raised in Longview, Texas. Makenzie has Pitbull named Samson, a Chihuahua named Oli-Bug, a Cat named Baby Bash, a Labrador retriever named Nala, and two rats that go by the name Cheech & Chong.

She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family, as well as traveling with her dogs and riding horses. Whenever she is not working you can either find her eating at one of the local Mexican food restaurants, or lounging on the couch catching up on one of her favorite shows!

Veterinary Technician

Traci Started at JRAC in May of 2018. She was born and raised in Ohio and moved to Texas in 2015. Traci has been in Veterinary Medicine since 2001, she has had a love of animals since she was a child, when she would try to bring home every stay animal she could.

Traci not only cares for her patients, but their owners as well. She has 2 dogs, Remington and Cowboy, as well as 2 cats, Sofie Bean and Zander. Traci has two sons, Ryan and Nicolas, along with her boyfriend Ed. In her spare time she loves working with horses, or spending time with her human kids and family!

Veterinary Technician

Holly joined JRAC in February of 2015. She was born and raised in Hallsville, Texas and never left her little town. Holly married her High School Sweetheart Keith. Together they have 3 beautiful daughters, Kylie, Natalee & Laney. Holly enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as working on the family ranch and loving all her 4- legged kids.

Holly and her family are active in their Schools FFA and 4H programs, where they raise and show Heifer and Market Swine. Holly took some time off from 2015-2018 for maternity leave and then to raise her kids.

She is excited to be back working with the staff here at JRAC and learning more about Vet Med. Holly loves her job and look forward to meeting yall and loving on your fur babies.

Veterinary Technician

Jo started with JRAC in August of 2018, she was born in East Texas. She grew up in a military family so has lived in many different places before she settled in Gilmer, Texas she resided in Atlanta, GA where she worked as a nurse. It was at that time, she decided that her passion was working with pets.

Jo has 8 years’ experience with small animal care. Her daily joy is coming an assisting the Doctors with everything from routine all the way through emergency medicine. Jo has 2 daughters, 1 grandson along with her wonderful husband Angelo. Along with spending all her free time with her 2 dogs Squiggy and Chloe she also enjoys traveling.

Veterinary Technician

Hailey joined the JRAC team in 2015, then took a break and came back to work in 2018. Hailey was born and raised in East Texas where she graduated from Diana High School and briefly attended Kilgore College which she plans on finishing out her classes soon.

In her spare time Hailey enjoys doing crafts, cheering on her sister in her school activities and spending time with her God Son, as well as spending time with the rest of her family!

Veterinary Technician

Ana joined our team in June of 2012. Ana was born and raised in Longview where she graduated from Pine Tree. After graduation she worked as a dog obedience instructor at PetSmart.

When Ana came to JRAC she became a Certified Veterinary Assistant, in which she has completed both levels 1&2 and will soon begin work on level 3. In October of 2018, Ana had a beautiful baby girl, Maya. Maya has a big sister named Chloe, who is the cutest little Yourkie!

Maya also has two big brothers, Gryff an Aussiedoodle, and Odin, a one-eyed Golden Retriever. In Ana’s Spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Veterinary Technician

Araly came to work at JRAC in July of 2019. She was born in Dalton, Georgia, but moved to East Texas in February of 2010. Araly Graduated from Lindale High School and later attended TJC. Araly has been working in Vet Med since March of 2011. Araly has 2 dogs Venda a 9 year old Doberman, and Venny a 5 month old Doberman. When not at work she enjoys riding and taking care of her family’s horses.

Customer Care Representative Supervisor

Zanetta has been with our team since September of 2008. She decided to work at a veterinary office after a “change of heart” while attending nursing school and that’s when she found Judson Road Animal Clinic. She has a love for all animals but soon after joining JRAC, realized her love for client interaction was stronger, she moved from Vet Tech to Customer Care Representative soon after joining our team, and later to the position she is at now which is Office Manager. Zanetta and her husband Darron, have four kids.

When she is not at work Zanetta enjoys the busy sports schedule of her oldest Son & Daughter all while trying to keep a very energetic 2 year old from causing too much havoc. When Zanetta get the rare opportunity for “her time” she enjoys DIY projects, gardening, fishing, and cooking and spending time with her family!

Customer Care Representative

Rosanne came to JRAC in June of 2015. She was born in Pecos, Texas and moved to Longview 1972 where she graduated from Longview High School. She married Rusty Waggoner in 1985 until his passing in 2001. Together they have 3 grown children. Rosanne enjoys spending time with the loves of her life, her 4 grandchildren.

In her spare time she loves to paint on canvas, Crochet, antique shop, and travel. She is very involved in her church St. Matthews Catholic Church, where she serves as “Social Coordinator” for the ACTS core and “Regent” for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She also enjoys her weekly Bible Study at “BSF”. Spending time with her family and friends is what she holds precious to her heart, second to serving God. Life is to short.

Customer Care Representative

Terri Started here at JRAC in July of 2019. She was born and raised here in East Texas and graduated from Tatum High school. After she graduated, she attended TJC where she studied Animal Science. Currently Terri still lives in Tatum with her dog Zeus. When she isn’t entertaining Zeus she enjoys cooking and cross stitching. When life allows she also enjoys parasailing and skydiving as well as deep sea fishing.
