Dr. Julie Henderson joined our team in April of 2017. Chances are if you come in on Thursdays you will see her! Dr. Henderson is 1990 graduate of Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. She also completed her and Equine Surgery Residency at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Board Certified Equine Surgeon. Dr. Henderson had an Equine Practice in Hallsville for 14 Years, and is married to her husband Steve Henderson. She sold her hospital in 2009 when she and Steve went overseas to do mission work Mozambique with the Christian Veterinary Mission. They returned to Texas in 2015 and are enjoying being closer to their family. Dr. Henderson has written a book about their time in Mozambique “A Beautiful Season” and is now happily working on her third career as a small animal Veterinarian. Steve and Julie have two sons and five grandchildren.
